Mobile Apps for Android and iOS
With an active subscription and valid account, apps are available on Google Play and the Apple App Store for use on any mobile tablet or phone. Users can dive deeper into anatomy with InSight Lens, exploring anatomy and physiology anywhere or while using it wirelessly connected to the AR System. When connected to the AR System, instructors can use Smart Controller to update scenarios on-the-fly. Our Standalone Smart Peripheral app allows all users to visualize real-time feedback on performance when using our Smart Peripherals.
InSight Lens is a tool that helps bridge the gap between gross anatomy and complex microstructures in the human body. Users can dive deeper into anatomy and physiology anywhere and anytime. With InSight Lens, student observers can wirelessly connect to the AR System to follow along during live simulations, so when only 2 or 3 students are treating the physical simulator, student observers can follow along and learn at the same time.
Smart Controller is a tool that allows instructors or simulation technicians to update scenarios on-the-fly when connected to the AR System. Control all aspects of your live simulations on the InSight Platform with the Smart Controller. Change what anatomy is visible to students, add/remove moulage, change patient vitals, and adjust other physiological states to add variability to your simulations in real-time. Unlike other commercially available controllers, Smart Controller can be used on any Android or iOS device.
The Standalone Smart Peripheral app can be used in conjunction with any of our Bluetooth Smart Peripherals. Instructors or learners can visualize real-time performance metrics while performing clinical interventions such as IV medication administration, endotracheal intubation, bag-valve-mask ventilation, or chest compressions. Sessions can be recorded in the app, and the data used for comprehensive debriefing on performance. This is a great option for programs that want to add functionality to their low-fidelity manikins and task trainers.
